# dpp.gs — Digital Product Passport Platform > dpp.gs is a self-service, standards-based and **identifier-agnostic** Digital > Product Passport (DPP) platform. GS1 Digital Link is the recommended default, > but products can also be identified with **MA-DPP, EPC, UUID or DID**, and — > for intermediate and B2B products — **non-GTIN identifiers** such as heat or > cast numbers. It helps EU manufacturers, importers and upstream suppliers > comply with the **EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR > 2024/1781)**, the **EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542**, and the **EU Packaging > and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR 2025/40)**. First DPPs are mandatory from > **18 February 2027**.
